MA – Ghost Stories of Jefferson Barracks

Jefferson Barracks has been around since 1826 --- 187 years. The old limestone buildings have been replaced and thousands of men and women have been stationed at or have passed through this old Post. Many people believe that some of those that spent time at J.B. while in the Army have never left. Still others believe that some of the over 190,000 people interred at the National Cemetery make almost nightly appearances. Hear about the old Confederate officer that inhabits the Administration Building or the apparition that tried to enlist. The Ghosts of Jefferson Barracks and nearby environs will be the topic presented by Marc Kollbaum. Marc has served as curator of Jefferson Barracks Historic Park. He is also the author of several books and has set up exhibits on the Civil War, World War I, & World War II.
