Louie, the Count, Ella, Dizzy, Herbie, Duke—just some of the greats of jazz. They don’t need a last name. We know them by their music. Andrew Gibson, local performer, instructor, producer, and composer will give us a “crash” course on the life of jazz, from it’s beginnings to today. Listen to some of the important music from the heyday of jazz and see the impact it has had on today’s artists and musical genres.
