The MRH Chickenologists are a small band of students who began their work in the fall of 2010 when the MRH school district adopted its first flock of chickens. The group did the necessary research in chicken care to insure the flock was well managed. The students range from 7th-12th grade. The chickenologists have presented nationally, have lobbied local government, and have even authored a book. They will be joined by a panel of local citizens who have successfully raised and maintained their own flocks of chickens. A Q&A session will follow.
