The Readings on Race Book Club meets monthly to unpack the complex and challenging subject of race in America by reading and discussing books on this topic. The book club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the book club meets virtually via Zoom. The Ferguson Municipal Public Library is celebrating 90 years of service with a year-long discussion series.
Our first presentation, Turning Back Time, reveals the wealth of information librarian Allison Repking has unearthed during her deep dive into Ferguson's past on her quest to create a complete Ferguson Library history. Ms. Repking will also instruct attendees on how to conduct similar research and learn more about the community in which they live.
Do your kids need help with their homework? Studying for a test? Or maybe just someone to read with them? Bring them to Afterschool Homework Help! Our group of friendly volunteer homework helpers will be on hand to work with your child. For more information, please call the library and ask for Amy.
