Interested in learning how to sew, gaining new skills, or making some new crafty friends? Join the Ferguson Sewing Club! Our group of experienced sewists enjoy sharing their craft with new people, so even if you know very little about sewing, you are more than welcome to join the club. The Readings on Race Book Club meets monthly to unpack the complex and challenging subject of race in America by reading and discussing books on this topic. The book club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm. The book club meets in a hybrid virtual and in-person format. TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (FMPL)

Come learn about TRIO and its programs at the Ferguson Municipal Public Library! A representative from the Higher Education Consortium will be available to discuss how you can get support for yourself or a family member interested in going to college.

The Higher Education Consortium of Metropolitan St. Louis (https://www.hecstl.org/) sponsors three federal TRIO programs (Upward Bound, Educational Talent Search and Educational Opportunity Centers). All three programs are funded by the U. S. Department of Education to provide FREE financial aid and college access services to low-income, first-generation populations.
