Journey to Munich: a Maisie Dobbs mystery by Jacqueline Winspear.
In early 1938 Maisie Dobbs is summoned by England’s Secret Service to travel to Germany and handle the release of a British citizen from the prison at Dachau. Because Maisie looks like the man’s daughter who was recently killed in an accident, she is acting as a family member. However the man who was instrumental in her husband’s death learns of her travel plans and Maisie leaves for Germany with her life in danger.
