Children and teen Summer Reading participants and their families are invited to an evening swim party at the Maplewood Aquatic Center from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Free tickets for this event will be available in the Children's Library beginning July 18.
The Friends of the Kirkwood Public Library will hold a Book Sale on July 29 and 30 in the Library, 140 E. Jefferson Avenue, Kirkwood. This will be a “Bag Sale.” Buy a bag of books (we’ll provide the bag) for $8 on Friday and $5 on Saturday. All kinds of books will be on sale – fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, art books, cookbooks, and more.
There is no entry fee, and payment is by cash or check. No credit or debit cards.

Our July 30th Fashion Design Studio offers children's ages 5-18 an opportunity to design their own fashions, shoes, handbags and other accessories. All materials will be provided by the library. Any fashions our young designers create will belong to them.
