Join us at Brentwood Library to meet our local EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians). Learn about their job and safety measures we can take, and then we will walk across the street to check out their ambulance! This event is free and open to children and families.

The Scrabble Club meets on the first and third Thursday of the month. Games begin at 5:30 pm and generally conclude around 7 pm. All interested players are welcome to attend. No reservation required.

The Magic of the Eclipse with Abra-Kid-Abra

On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse is coming very close to the Ferguson Public Library! Our Magic of the Eclipse Show with Abra-Kid-Abra will get our readers ready for this rare and special event. Amidst the fun of magic, comedy, and puppetry, we will learn all about eclipses – the different types, how often they come, safety tips for viewing, famous books that reference eclipses, and much more! You'll leave very excited about the coming eclipse, and able to understand what it means. You will also learn an eclipse magic trick!
