The Municipal Library Consortium, Your Hometown Library Network, will hold a Scavenger Hunt from May 10th to 17th. Grand prizes include an Apple iPad Mini and two Amazon Kindles. This Mad Science show is all about sound and sound waves. The students will get tuned-in to earning with exciting demonstrations and experiments. Volunteers will help demonstrate wave motion. Children will learn the difference between transverse and longitudinal waves and understand how vibrations travel to their ears.
